Mario Cipriano is an Italian photographer who created “Light Sound Light” in four short videos. It is a project to combine images and shutter sound. He connects a microphone with his Leica M6 camera to record site sound when before the actual shot in few more seconds. A black scene will show with five seconds of audio, and a photo and five more seconds will show up afterward. Each photo will follow by ten seconds of audio. I really impressed by the demonstration of this artwork. He experiments with photography. It is amusing how he presents the image and sound unsynchronized in a short video. The audio attracts people to guess where the source of the sound is and who is involved in the sound. This five-second arouse the audience’s curiosity, it is a good method of how to draw the attention of the public.
